Proofpoint shares insight into Mobile security a rising concern with BYOD... A recent study by Vodafone determined that 71 percent of business owners view IT security as one of the biggest technology-related challenges today, especially due to BYOD and rapid smartphone activation rates.

HARTFORD, Conn., March 6, 2013 — Although more than half the U.S. small businesses surveyed by the Ponemon Institute experienced at least one data breach, only a third notified individuals that their personal information had been exposed, it was reported today in a study conducted for The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB), part of Munich Re.
